Fraud Disclaimer & Prevention
1. Purpose
This page exists to help Workers and Businesses recognize and avoid fraud, phishing, and impersonation scams that misuse the TRAKE name. Gig and daily-wage job platforms are common targets for scammers. Please read this advisory carefully before sharing any personal or payment information.
2. TRAKE Will Never:
- ✕ Ask you to pay a registration fee, security deposit, training fee, or "guarantee" fee to access Shifts or get hired.
- ✕ Ask for your UPI PIN, OTP, net-banking password, or full card details over phone calls, SMS, or WhatsApp.
- ✕ Guarantee a job or Shift in exchange for upfront payment.
- ✕ Contact you from an unauthorized personal mobile number claiming to be "TRAKE HR" or "TRAKE Support" outside official channels.
- ✕ Ask you to install third-party remote-access apps (e.g. AnyDesk, TeamViewer) to "verify" your account.
If anyone contacts you claiming to represent TRAKE and asks for any of the above, do not respond, do not pay, and report it immediately.
3. Official Channels
Only trust communications originating from our verified channels:
TRAKE is not responsible for losses arising from interactions with unofficial websites, fake social media accounts, or individuals falsely claiming to represent TRAKE.
4. How to Verify a Genuine Shift or Offer
- Genuine Shifts are only visible and acceptable through the official TRAKE platform after identity verification is completed.
- Payouts are only ever credited into your registered UPI ID or bank account initiated through the official system — never collected from you.
- If a "Business", contractor, or "recruiter" asks you to pay them directly off-platform to "confirm" or "unlock" a Shift, this is not a TRAKE-facilitated transaction and is fraudulent.
5. Report Suspected Fraud
If you receive a suspicious call, message, or offer claiming to be from TRAKE, contact us immediately:
6. Limitation of Liability
TRAKE takes active, rigorous measures to protect its brand and community, but cannot guarantee the prevention of all unauthorized third-party impersonation schemes. TRAKE is not liable for losses resulting from a User's voluntary disclosure of confidential security credentials (such as OTP, UPI PIN, net-banking passwords) to unauthorized parties.
